Did you reset your ECU? If not, disconnect the negative terminal off your battery, turn the key to the on position, depress the brake pedal for about 30 seconds, turn the key off, reconnect the negative terminal and start the car. Drive more agressive than normal for the first 50 miles or so. Should fix your problem.

that's a little hard for me to do... I'd end up wrecking if I tried that :?

It can take from 10 to 20 Driving cycles of 5 minutes or more to get your ECU fully mapped up to the new stuff.
