why would 1st suck? Chances are it is close to the 5 speeder in ratio... but I am hoping that the rest of the gears are slightly closer with a slightly higher 6.

Anybody got the ratios handy?

There aren't any I4 6speeds in Korea. The 6speed from a V6 requires so much modification that it's not worth it. As far as 6speeds go with the beta, our only option is from the Mitsu FTO. Other than that it's longer 5speed gears.

how can someone get the gears whether forged or dog teeth? i don't think you mentioned how much dog teeth would be, and both forged and dog teeth i take it comes with all gear replacements, i/o shafts, c-clips, syncronizers, etc. what all comes with this stuff. sounds interesting for a future mod. is there a replacement differential too (not too sure if thats the right word for it, but i'm talking about the setup of spider gears and what not attached to the ring gear)? what our axles? are they strong enough for a high horse setups? thanks!

LOTS OF QUESTIONS! LOTS OF QUESTIONS!
(hope i'm not getting off topic here)

Mitsubishi Fto's have 1.8L I4 and 2.0L V6 engines and are all 5 speed manual's or 4 and 5 speed auto's.
