I did read it, but there's no other explanation mang..

You see, the only reason it would idle high and NOT give you a CEL is if it was idling normal, but the car THINKS you're giving it gas (like if your cables were too tight, that would be the equivalent to putting that much tension on the gas pedal with your foot, or anything to force your butterfly AND TPS open at the same time, and the only thing that would do that would be something which turns the pulley on the TB, so..)...see what I'm saying?

Can you try loosening the nuts all the way, so that the cables are basically nothing but slack? This will give you zero tension in the gas pedal if you tried to drive, but at least it would help you diagnose the problem.

Otherwise, it's possible there's something wrong with the pulley system on the BBTB. When you had it off the car, when it was closed, was it really FULLY closed? maybe it could have been partially open. I know I had a BBTB once (I've had many..lol) where the nut was tightened down too far on the pulley. Or maybe it's too lose?

Another thing you could try, turn the car on and pop the hood, while it's idling high go to the TB and manually turn the pulley by hand, rev the car a little, then turn it CLOSED as much as you can, doing this with zero tension in the cables SHOULD make it idle normal.

If you have no CEL and none of that works, then I'm out of ideas.

A leak at the throttle body would probably cause a higher idle because it would be recieving more air than the computer thinks is being allowed in.

TPS doesn't throw a light. I actually threw codes for low idle when my TPS was screwed, even though I had it idling at 1100rpm at that time. My RPMS also fell very slow when my TPS was bad. You may have broken it taking it off.

The screw for the idle is very loose, mine is almost out for it to idle at 8050rpm. Make sure its locked down with a locknut so it doesn't rattle itself closed/more loose while driving and cause problems.

This problem occured after you installed the BBTB. Hence, the problem is from the BBTB. Hence, there are only a few things that it could be.

1. Vacuum Leak
2. Idle not adjusted via cables/idle screw
3. Bad TPS

But there are CEL codes for high and low idle^^

The only reason he would not be getting the high idle CEL code is if something is keeping his butterfly open, and his TPS open at the same time, therefore the car thinks that it's the driver stepping on the gas, rather than the engine idling high.

Did you reset your ECU or not?

Dude, I was idling at 4K RPM's after my airram till I reset my ECU.

Then it was perfect.

Which TPS do you have installed?

There are two types of TPS, on them it'll either say Keifco or Dae Sung, the Dae Sungs had a recall for some reason. I'm still running the Dae Sung at the moment with no problem, but if its a Dae Sung you can get the TPS eliminated as a possibility for free as the dealer has to change it for you.

Dude, stop everything.

Please, listen to me.

Your car is having trouble adjusting to the new intake volume. Go out to your car, with the 65MM installed, and RESET YOUR ECU.

Trust me.

If you still have any problems after that, adjust your idle the normal way, then get your TPS changed. There are tons of threads on the site here about the TSB on the TPS's.
