you must drill one hole for the IAC and one tapped hole for the top left hole in the tb.

waiting for pics.

Looks like a R-side to me, just no name on it.

Also with the beta 2 TB IAC hole....i just stuffed some Fiberal(fiberglass filler) in there, sealed it good.

SRT...

i find it weird if it was a old R-side that they wouldnt allow room for a nut on the top left hole of the tb. i'm thinking maybe a bored out beta 2 OEM TB, probably 57mm max in size.

That's what I thought... I just don't want to put to much stress on my engine, i want to keep her healthy, but even if i'm runnin a little rich i'll let it go but if it runs real rich i'll probably just put the stock one back on.. I forgot the other thing I had to do to put this on was this TB didn't have connectors for the coolant hoses, I had to connect them together, which I figure is better for cooler air intake

depends on the part of the nation you are in if you want to route the coolant through the TB. we have a DIY for the throttle body bypass. just your preference. the DIY explains the reasons for the TB coolant.

I would look into a junkyard to see if you can find a beta2 IM. they will bolt up to your beta1 motor and you wont have that nasty bolt sticking out there in the open, but that is the OCD side of me. also, depending on the size of the tb would also be a factor if i wanted to keep it on my engine.

Well the DIY says that it's better performance wise for the coolant not to run through the throttle body, and since I live in Ohio I doubt my butterfly will freeze shut, so I'm glad my friend told me to not run it through the TB... thanks everyone for helpin me out, much appreciated!
