^^^Yea, I'm sure the motors in them are worth removing for weight.

Ok i got some desired weights today

First, i know jon will love me for this one, the stock solite battery weighs 36.4 lbs.

The stock wheels and tires weigh 36lbs, and my motegi's weigh 38, so i gain 2 pounds in exchange for better cornering and some sticky ass tires, worth it IMO

The Chromoly flywheel (had the tranny off today) weighs 10.2lbs, not 11.

I also removed the shifter counter weight on the tranny and the intake manifold support. They each weigh somewhere between a half a pound and a pound, including the bolts its more toward a pound a pop.

16" motegi FF7's, the rims themselves are 19lbs - one pound more than stock, and the tires must account for the other pound.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Patreezy)</div><div class='quotemain'>..........

and surprisingly the one on the left weighs considerably less than the one on the right. smile.gif</div>

I forgot to add the weights with my previous post. For those interested;

the headers are 9.90lbs
and the downpipe is 4.63lbs

for a total of ~15lbs

as for stock, I do not know the weights...

stock steering wheel, clockspring, and airbag for steering wheel is.. 7.1 lbs..

aftermarket ebay steering wheel, with the hub is 3lbs almost exactly..

so 4.1lb difference just in the steering wheel/hub swap..

I wonder if a aftermarket catback like motoria is lighter than stock. The muffler should be lighter at least.
