/\ lol well i just finished it yesterday so i havent had the chance, im assuming if i drove it unspiritedly i would see better gas mileage because it has to move less mass, if i do notice anything ill be sure to note it..
Oh sorry sharkev i didnt see that you edited your post, it was 90 bucks on ebay but i think that OBX retails them for like ~150.. cant seem to find anything on OBX's website tho, the writeup will be the same for any UD pulley

haha, so I put mine in last saturday, and man, I had seen your DIY, but i didnt read thru it, I was like " I dont need to read this DIY, I can do this " haha, well I wish I had read the part of the belts !!!!
so since I didnt read your flawlessly done DIY, I had to figure out on my own how to get the alternator to work with such a long belt, haha, so I use the A/C belt on the alternator side, and Ive had no A/C for a few days, and it has been hot as a mofo here in florida !!! but with no A/C belt on, and the new pulley in, the Tib freakin hauls ass !!!!! i can chirp into 3rd now at full acceleration shifting at redline !!!!! I also have the VHR flywheel and clutch, so that helps a great deal too, but this crank pulley is one of my best mods so far on the car !!!!!!
great job again on the DIY !!!!
EDIT:
so today im at the shop, they have a computer here so Im waiting for the engine to cool before I start working on it, and I really think the alternator belt should be a 32 inch, and the A/C belt should be like 30 inch, so ill get the napa part numbers for you in a little bit when I put it on here in a few hours (im also helping my boy with his boss mustang !!

The belt size is all about preferance, the larger belt will be easier to get onto the pullies but requires a little more time to tighten the tensioner pulley. On the flip side a smaller belt would make getting the belts on the pullies a little more difficult but will take less time to tighten. I chose a size that was a happy medium. The Belt size has a small amount of lee-way BUT i wouldnt recomend using anything other than the belt sizes i have provided or loneshark said would work because youll end up running back and forth to autozone 12 times, trust me hehe.
Oh and thanks gspots, i didnt have great explanations or pics to work with and i searched EVERYWHERE so i wanted to make sure nobody else had that problem. I was going to do another DIY with my exhaust but i was pressed for time.

The belt lengths in this DIY were both too long for me. Neither the alternator nor the tension pully were able to move enough for effective tightening. I ended up going an inch or two smaller on the rear belt and using my old rear belt on the front set. Belt looked like new so I saw no reason not to.
Note: I do have one of those cars where not all the parts match up wtih all the other 2001's I've seen. Especially the short-shirter I waited for 2 months on backorder for, then got the right one in 3 days. Go figure.

what belt sizes did you end up using? if you provide them and somebody has similar size problems they can use your sizes. Also what UD pulley did you use? if it wasnt the OBX that could be the source of the differance.
Oh and somebody asked me a while ago about gas mileage, and i think i definatly see an improvement, i can get 29-32 with semi-spirited driving very consistantly. i can take it real easy and get numbers up to 35, if i granny it...

2. GIM (Shit, I mean Shark Racing)
3. Unorthodox Racing
