Do you mean turn the car on, or just turn the key so all the lights on the dash light up?

it's not going to start with the battery unhooked.. so just turn the key to where it would ordinarly be "on" and running and then press the brake

I'm not going to act like an expert on Hyundai since I own a GM car (fiance has the Tibby), but don't ECMs learn/adjust constantly? That's why we have them.

ya i notice like changes to my ECU after like in the morning i drive realy agresive lets say like after i had the ca rat 95mph for 4 minuts and like drive without alotta stopping, then i get better acceleration and like speed ups while i drive, more responsive engine and when i stick the accelerator to him he reacts faster. (i do have an a/t btw, it might change a few things)

Yes, but consider this a shortcut to see the new effects of modifications SOONER than a week or two.

Of course....like you said. The NEW effects of modications. Can't take a car reset the ECM an expect magic.

a mod reaching all of its potential faster isnt magic, also protects you from throwing a CEL, resetting your ECU is a good idea MANNNN

But are this safe ? or can i kill the ecu ....... have someone tried this yet?
