Great post, helped me alot with getting these out nice and easily. Didn't even have to use a hammer, just got a nice large flat head and pushed on the black rubber piece and the lights cooperated nicely.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Patreezy @ Jun 27 2005, 03:38 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>No wonder it's so loose and looks out of alignment. Where can I get those rubber thingies...mine must of fell out or I lost some clips or something. It makes the front end look really bad.</div>

Mine sits cockeyed too. The plastic to the screw is still in one piece... Maybe it's that rubber that disappeared or got messed up.

^^ I'm with u buddy. Whenever I need to remove my corners... which I've done quite a bit because I've modded them with some chrome plated circuit boards and a set of strobes.. I just push from the inside and pull kinda outwards on the very edge of them, it works just fine and no tools involved

Make sure you do this when its warm out, do not attempt this when it is cold outside. Plastic does not like to give as much in the winter and you may end up breaking off not only the stabilizer hook that slides against the main unit but also the metal ball joint.......on both sides....... blowup.gif mad.gif
