Yes, my car was completely stock at the time. Stock everything, Rims, Tires (Same times I bought the car with, but they were low on tread. AEM used my car right before I bought my 17" Rims) Stock Exhaust, etc, etc. Nothing done to my car. I was at ~25,000 miles on my car
They Dyno'd my car Stock, using the Random Special (for fun) and using the AEM CAI. Stock was something like 119.7 WHP, Random Special (something like +6.5 WHP gain) and the AEM at 8.4 WHP gain. This was at ~500 ft above sea level, 73 degree weather.
Its kind of strange though, because everyone gets different numbers on the gain. After I got my dyno, when Rob from Hyundai Perfomance got one for himself, he showed a 12.something WHP gain. But this car was running 109 WHP stock, which was way different than my car. It was also dynoed at ~3,000 ft above sea level and in 85 degree weather.
I have a brand new engine now.. I wonder what my numbers would look like.

Me too.
Elevation can really mess with #'s too. Yours were done at 3K feet? Wow. Wonder what mine are up here at 7500 feet.
Hmm, I wonder what the elevation is at where the one on HP was dyno'd for 12 HP.

maybe it's because he had dirty stock air filter

I've installed mine yesterday.
The only problem i encounterd was that i've got a carbon filter where the AEM filter is supposed to go. So i had to replace this.
This was not mentioned in the manual, but i think it only apply's to european cars.
Other than that, i works fine and sounds great.
