Im ready to give up.

Dont know what the damn problem with the tib is, and noone knows either and all hope looks like its lost.

I pretty much cried a river over my tib because I dont want to get rid of it, but I dont know what to do. I feel like giving up. I really dont know what I do to deserve this kind of bs. I just dont get it.

Ive worked so hard to get it to work (spent all this money, looked to people to get it fixed), got all these parts for her, went against what all the haters said, and now its all going down the drain. I did all this in my mom's memory because she got this car for me.

I dont know what to do. Nobody seems to know what happened and everything in the book has been tried. Nothing works. This just sucks.

End /rant.

Swift don't give up just yet! If Albert Einstein gave up at 2000 tries we might not have light bulbs. Instead he did that 2000 and 1 try that became the master piece. I know it feels like all help is lost and you need to give up. But giving up are those that get second and third place because they stopped trying.

I'm sure with everyone's knowledge RD Tiburon could help you get a solution.

Don't give up, giving up is for quiters and I cant stand quiters! You can pull it off swift, just don't give up!

Did you guys uninstall all that stuff again? Have you taken it to Hyundai?

Have you asked god (Viper966) for assistance?

Hey Swift,

Dont give up girl! Ur tib is one of the best tibs i've known about, u have come a long way to give up just yet, i'll ask my automotive tech. teachers for info. about those problems, one of them is cirtified in all the companies of cars (honda, hyundai, mitsu., chevy, ford, etc...) and he is also a master tech. in the computers and electric parts on the car, and my other teach. used to build up muscle cars, and knows some stuff bout turboes and modified cars, so i'll ask them for reference. Till I get back to college though...

Dont give up just yet girl, have faith, i know it'll come out good and purrin like a tiger shark tongue.gif

Do what I am doing...

Right now I am juggling school (flight school is more intense than becoming a doctor sometimes) / life on my own at 18 / finding time to have fun / making money / building my tiburon for racing / etc, etc.

When my timing belt blew and effed over my engine I simply lost it and decided one of the balls I was juggling needs to be set aside for now. I got another car for cheap and am driving that happily like a lil' b*tch grandma 35mph around town. I can't take turns faster than 30mph (SUV), and I AM HATING IT, but it gets me around town.

When I find the time down the road in about a month I'll go back to the tib after I have thought EVERYTHING through and have a long-term plan for it, that's realistic. Consider an engine-swap Selinda (sp?)...
It's very cheap and easy on inline4's like ours.

Start from scratch and tell P0343 to go fvck itself...

Hyundai will look at it, doesn't matter what you've done to it.

I'm determined, that since everything ran fine until those mods were done, that something was damaged during the install.

Maybe look into a new portion of the wiring harness that involves the sensor that's bad. It can't be THAT hard, it's just one sensor that is tits up. Pardon the expression. Get a sensor logging tool and hook it up, find out what is exactly going on in the engine, but definately go through HMA with a fine tooth comb and follow their troubleshooting proceedures. They have specific electronics manuals. Don't give up so easy girl!
