Nology Hotwires Suck!

lmao.gif OK, after you have finished putting all those stickers together...
IF, and note the capitals, IF you are going to spend on wires, then do it for once and spend like $90 on a set of Magnecors, not only are they susposed to have less resistance (which I also agree does not give any power, just keeps you away from LOSING power due to missfire or poor fire) but they will last maybe three or more times than OEMs, which do not cost one third of the magnecors; so... echonomically, Magnecors are a better buy than new OEMs, now IF you don't have the cash and want to spend less, then OEMs can save you... for a while...
PLUS: The thing I hate the most about OEMs is they go without any notice, one day your car is runing fine, and the next day, out of nowhere, it begins to stall all of a sudden and you can barely move... if it catches you away from home, you are in trouble...

Dunno why you bought them, everyone here has said Nology = shit LOL. Magnecor are nice wires, I've never seen any problems with them.
Stock ones are fine though.

Well, I bought these wires about 2 years ago and I don't think I had discovered this forum yet so...
I have finally recieved a reply PM from airborne so I will be spending money to get the ecu re-flashed more than likely.

I've never changed my wires since I bought the car second-hand in 11/02... so it's anyone's guess as to how old they are. They're the stockers, I believe, and they're still doing their job fing02.gif
BTW, that equates to around 70,000klms since I bought it.

I'm in the same boat....bought the car second hand so I'm not sure how long they've been in. That said, just Wednesday I went with a set popular with some of you guys and bought the PRD wire set in neon blue. Once I get em, gonna grab the NGK Iridiums too, then I'll know how old the spark system is.

You aren't going to get any real GAINS from spark plug wires. Maybe 1/10 of one HP to the CRANK. You'll notice some smoother idling, and maybe some better response, but that's it. Oh, and your miliage may go up a bit.
As for theNology wires, it's been said here about 40 Trillion times, Nology's wires suck ass. Expensive, and shit. Magnecor's are nice wires, but WAY too expensive, and still nothing special, just a thick ass wire.
PRD's are on one of my Tibs, and are fantastic wires. NGK's are on my RD2, and I will be swapping them for PRD's soon.
