well so im leaving vegas to drive back to albuquerque for work tonight. as i get about a mile from home i make a left turn and shift into second. i let out the clutch abd te rpms hit the rev limiter. so i think i just didnt put in gear. so i try again same result. well so i pull over and try again no luck. no im out a plane ticket home and whatever its gonna take to fix the tib. i dont think its the clutch though because i can put it in gear and the spedo starts to read mph. so i think i snapped an axle. anyone know of stronger axles we can purchase for the tib? cause if i did snap one you better fu**ing believe im buying stronger axles for it incase i ever go turbo ect. ect. . and the worst part is when i bought this car i told my soon to be wife it wont break down it runs perfect! it wont be a money eater! well it still runs perfect, but it doesnt move. now i look like a jack ass to the person who means most to me in the world. and i have a broken car that will be 600 miles away from me so i cant just work on it at my leasuire. this fu**ing sucks!!!!! i guess its back to the xd for me...

Don't think you snapped an axle considering axles aren't effected as much by time as other parts, and the fact that your only running a little bit more power than stock thorugh them.

Consider the number of people running 300whp that snapped an axle. Then consider the number of people running 300whp that broke a tranny (or people that broke a tranny stock). I'd be leaning towards you bought a car with a tranny in near-dead health.

Go back to the kid you bought it from and kick his butt. wink1.gif

I got your IM man, that sucks. I bet it's the tranny with how hard Cysco drove that b****.

Tranny's aren't that expensive at all.

Less than $500.

Take a look at Car-Parts.com and a few other sites.

I didn't see any good ones on ebay right now.
