Sorry to hear all that man. Be careful next time though.
I may drive fast sometimes, but I always use my signals and make sure noone is in the lane I want to go to. I've seen people swerve in and out of lanes and I really feel thats pointless because they aren't getting anywhere faster. I read in a magazine that people who swerve in and out of traffic will get to their destination in the same time it would take if they drove normally. Go figure.

dang.. i got citations for careless driving and blowing a stop sign. I have to go to court on the 15th of may to see what i am going to get. The charges could not be dropped i do not think if i talked to the person that called it in and described the situation to them. Since i am not 18 yet and my first major offence, they will not take my lisence away will they?Hope not! i would die of missing my tib too much.!!!!

You're very lucky that the probation thing will be removed from your record when you turn 18, if not, it could haunt you later on when looking for a job. I bet your insurance took a hit though.

well, i must be pretty lucky.. :knockonwood: i had 3 points on my record for going 17 over the speed limit and no seatbelt....an didn't have to pay any extra on my insurance. The ticket before those was for going 19 over. I had no extra fines or anything. Just had to attend driver improvement program both times. Keep in mind, i live 15-20 mins away from Virginia Beach, VA and the highways are nice and big...everyone speeds on there and I always get caught.
