^ That's all well & good but it doesn't really matter either way. The issue isn't so much that knockoffs are made or available: it's moreso just the fact that they're talked about on a public forum if the legit mfr's are still around.

I reckon it's cool for impossible-to-get parts to be reproduced by Chris or whoever else. I like the fact that I can cruise ebay for el-cheapo knock-offs should I choose to as well but I can also appreciate the fact that such products shouldn't be given free publicity on an open forum when the official manufacturer is still out there producing the real deal & spending cash on sponsorships/advertising/etc...

Nate's a cool guy from what I can tell from my time on these forums. RedZ is cool too. I just think someone got their wires crossed somewhere along the line & things got a little out of hand.

For clarification purposes, what was said about me in the shoutbox is all there in the archives. You may have to fiddle with the time bracket a bit. I have it saved but I don't feel it's necessary to repost it here. He made a personal attack against me not once, but twice in one night (early morning) for no reason whatsoever. I said nothing to him prior to that nor during or after him posting it. But I did watch it happen right before my eyes. I might not have noticed it if Rixshark didn't post my first name in there, telling him to shut up. That's what initially got my attention. So I can only imagine that this has happened before. Not just to me, either. But to his girlfriend as well. She's the mother of his child and he's talking about her like she's some random slut he picked up on the street. Not very classy at all. Think I'm making it all up? If you had as much time on your hands as he does, I'm sure you could find it all in the shoutbox archives.

Nate was cool back when he first started posting on here and hp.com. It's a shame, your car's pretty sweet but would be a lot cooler if you turned down the ego a bunch.

And I know this is bordering on another personal attack, plus I am wasting more of my time on this issue, so I will end now. Just wanted to make some things clear to everyone that's been asking about it.

As far as I know, they haven't, and there are no "knockoffs" of this kit. The closest one is I think it's called the bomber kit or something silly like that. Kinda like a buddy club idea where it's the same kit but for different makes and models. If I remember correctly, it's different. The front bumper is similar by the fact that it's squared off, but that's really it. But I'm going from memory here so I could be wrong, and please correct me if I am. I'm pretty sure you can still get the original Zefiro kit imported from Korea.

the front bumper's upper portion is thicker on the Zefiro, appose to the BOOMER!!!!!! its like 4"

 

I just looked as well. It's different. I wouldn't call that a knockoff, plus it's not being sold as such. Something like the vader kit it cleary a direct "knockoff" and they're still using pictures of tiburons with real veilside kits to market them, so yeah, that's something to be mad at.
