real quick answer:

silvertibbs said that hotel rates on the weekend are significantly higher than the weekday...

its just benefiting us to go early in the week.

Another reason I picked posted this date is that it's a holiday on the Monday. Figured most would be able to make it for at least one day. BUT......now looking at it it is the Canadian Holiday, and the American Holiday is the next week. 02.gif

So.... I dunno, Dweet it's not that bad of a drive from your place. wink1.gif

Maybe, now that I look at it, we should see if we should change it to the week after. I mean demographically the people coming for sure from Canada are tops 3 hrs away. If it's a holiday for the US citizens, which I must say make up the majority of the list, maybe that would work out better. Let's see how it plays out.

 

if its during the week i cant go... i have classes that take attendance.. and i only get 3 absences a quarter and the class meets every day

 

I definitely want to keep it during the week. I'd hate to have people pull out cause I can't help them out on the rates at all.

Only thing to consider would be to switch to the American Memorial Day, instead of Victoria Day for us canucks.

 

Update kinda.

I just added some prices and things. See the first post. As soon as I figure out how to change the darn poll I'll get one up to see if there is interest to do some of the Niagara Falls attractions. If we get together we can prolly get a better price for them. I mean they are all pretty cheap as it is but.........GB's rule. LOL

 

I'm 100% in as long as my car is out of the autobody shop. so where do we all meet up, i live in cambridge near waterloo, ill be coming up on the sunday for a cruz for sure and ill try to get there friday but well see. i dont need a hotel its only an 1 1/2hr drive for me. so pm where you guys are hookin up on fri and if i cant go fri, let me know how to hook up with you guys on sunday. this is gona be a blast!!!!!

 

Again this meet is a little different. We are meeting over the week.

(1) Cheaper hotel rooms if needed.
(2) Cheaper Track costs and a better chance to get more runs in.
(3) The Dyno at Innovative Tuning will also be available.

Trust me, you do not want to stay in this area over a long week end. If some want to come up on sunday, I might be able to swing that rate I quoted in the first post, but I can't guarantee it. I would love for people to come out that day then we can go to the real cruise night. But I want people to come have a good time and not have to worry about money. Especially when it can be better spent on our cars.
