XG350 Semi Big Brake Conversion

Master cylinder should still be able to provide enough. I don't see why not. You see guys doing BBKs on our cars without having to get new master cylinders. I'm assuming that this is the case, otherwise brake companies such as Wilwood and Rotora should be including a new master cylinder into their BBKs, which I know they don't.

Well, you are right, but all of those BBK's are just fronts. Random brought up back a long time ago that if we went with 2 to 4 pistons on each caliper around the car that it might be an issue.

From what I know that is correct. Also I think the XG caliper is the same as the GK caliper, someone please correct me on that if I'm wrong.
Part # wise, no, but I'm not sure about physically.

Hyundai part number on the rotors is 51712-3D300
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Actually that's new Sonata
XG's are 51712-39900 (up to 10/31/03) and 51712-39910 after that
Unfortunately I don't have any calipers so I can compare them 02.gif or 04 Sonata rotors to FAB up 02.gif
Oh yeah, according to the Parts Fische, ABS or no ABS on the Sonata's, doesn't matter, same Calipers smile.gif

Yeah, I was talking about the 04 Sonata rotors w/ ABS. XG has the same rotors but with a 5 lug pattern, I think.

ive been doing some research on the gk front suspension setup and i think the whole knuckle assebly (with brake and caliper) may be swappable, if it bolts up with the lower control arm. as well as axles (on the 4 cylinder). do the i4 and v6 have different brake setup?? i dont think so but need 2nd opinion....

Next question.
Do you guys want refurbished Calipers? Like used calipers from whereever we can get em, or brand new Hyundai Parts. I'll carry em, you'll be paying so its your choice.
