I use Wilwood forged billet superlite four piston calipers (P/N: 120-7476) with Brembo slotted rotors, Wilwood polymatrix type Q brake pads, Goodridge stainless steel brake lines, custom caliper adaptors and custom 5mm spacers.

I have 16" rims.

That's a pretty nice setup. How did you hook up the Goodridge lines to the calipers? Which rotors did you use and what size are they? I was researching other cars with the same bolt pattern to see if we could use their rotors, but I'd really like to get the 2-piece rotors to save weight.

The hook up was easy. The rotors are Brembo 310mm X 28mm and they are 5 hole from a Alfa Romeo 156 3.0 my mechanic converted them to 4 hole

yeah, the hats i was looking at were undrilled. the .81 rotor width is about the same size as stock. you can go with 1.1, but id be worried about fitment.

do your wheels have a high spoke design? like to the spokes bow away from the rotors a little bit, then meet in the center of the wheel?

madjohn, i can tell you exactly what part numbers to get that i really believe will work together. you will just have to get a machine shop to fab up a caliper bracket for each side, and also to drill the bolt pattern into the rotor hats. i say that if we do this, lets just concentrate on the fronts this time around, i have other ideas for the backs as well though.

Alright, I've been doing quite a bit of research on these things and I've come to the conclusion that the Lancer (not EVO) kit from hotrodsusa.com (part# 140-7015d) is probably the best solution. It's made up of all Wilwood parts: 12.19" dia, .81" width, 2-piece Rotors, 4-piston calipers, and ss lines. The only thing we'll have to do is manufacture caliper brackets (I have a place that can make custom aluminum brackets). Since the rotors are so thin, there will be massive weight savings not to mention the lightweight caliper. The rotor without the hat is only 8.8 lbs. All this for $650 shipped (minus caliper brackets). What do you guys think?
