BTW, here's another pic of the same car and the engine, but you can see the Knock ref. sensor better.

cdog, i believe that they should be listed as 97-01, b/c the entire car is essentially exactly the same, with the exception of the body, but the frame and engine bay are the same. Only the styling changed, if you look at a 99 tib and an 00 or 01 interior you can clearly see that even the styling isn't that much different.

If those sites don't know the correct years that our cars were sold in the US i strongly advise that you don't buy from them.

ie. : There were no 1995 or 1996 tib's sold by dealers on US soil, maybe oversees or in south america, but not here.

I would suggest buying the AOS front bar from speedstate, i just got mine last friday and put it on, and OMG what a huge difference. or just get the ones from KSPEC, they, being in korea, know our cars better than any tuners over here.

And like REDZ said earlier, KSPEC will usually get your order TO you before most US companies even ship.

There's aproblem with that OBX site, they don't have any and have to special order the Bars.

Could be months.

Not sure where i read this (HP maybe) but someone said that repositioning the knock sensor into a different alignment messes it up.

Isn't this an electronic sensor?? if so, how could changing the orientation of an electronic sensor (w/o modding the wires) affect its performance???

I just got my AOS front bar, and just bent and moved the knock sensor down further on the strut tower. Its vertically perpendicular to its original location.

Okay, let me get these pics uploaded and I'll do the writup tonight.

It's just needs to be oriented the same way as OEM. I've got a way to do it without drilling any holes or bending anything. Hold on till tonight...
