Nice job rd1tib

It feels good to see someone doing the same thing as me at the same time!

I just got new rims (17") and they fill the wheel well up nice, Looks very nice!

Can't wait to get her painted with my new hood. I should get pics up.

rd1tib, I got some questions for ya but it's OFFTopic:
where do you live, like how far from I-5
what're you doing around the middle of March?

I'll be driving down to LA sometime in late/middle march and it'd be cool to see ya there (maybe havea small get together with Blacktibs, Random, Jaws, Spiffywerks, all the LA homies......)

The Eibach Pro kit is a 1.2" drop. Once it settles, it'll be about a 1.5" drop.
Sits nicely! I should know wink1.gif
And the Eibachs won't sag like some others will

With what Shocks do Eibach springs do best?
The eibachs to (Pro-Damper)?
I heard some pretty good stuff about the KYB (I think) ones..

And what about the quality of the ride?
Near stock, or is it way more bumpy?

Ow and how much inches is it of ground with stock bumpers?

Nick

I have the FULL Eibach Pro kit
Springs
Struts (Dampeners)
And Sway bars

I can't drive a stock tib again! wink1.gif

The ride is actually like stock (comfort wise) but when you push her into the corners, it feels like you're on rails. It's awesome.
Some have said the KYBs are much stiffer. I'd have to ride in one to compare, the 2 other guys in the city here (HotRod and Neo) that have suspension upgrades are identical to mine, except Neo has Whiteline swaybars.

The drop looks very nice and 1.5" is not bad at all. I have intrax springs, I really like them, they are very stiff and make my car very handable (word?), but they are very very rough(which I can deal with) and very very low! After they settled down I went down about 2.5".... too much for MD's bumpy roads.

I might consider buying some eibachs this summer.

Looks good man.

I was afraid that I would not be able to install springs myself, but now I am pretty sure that I can.

Thanks for all the great comments. These springs are mean. You can take it through corners and there is no body roll what so ever. I say this is one good investment. When i was lowering the car with the lift i was like.. wow its getting low... wow lower ... wow.. and dang... maybe it was the size of the shop or sumthing but the car looked soo much better. i had to lift the car from the fenders to back the car off the lift.i guess the car was too low for the lift. I think the rear could be lower but maybe it will when it settles down. Man this month has been a "lowering month". Lowered my car, my friends 240sx and tomorrow i will help another friend lower his g20. This is getting easier and easier..

Bryce- Trying to find a job but it aint happening, so no 17's Yet..I think the stock Hubs look alight for now.hah. 14 inches and makes the car lower.
Patreezy- hmmm mid march.. im pretty sure im going to be doing a whole lot of school stuff. I live in San francisco, not really sure where is I-5. Senior Year so everything have to go rite.hah smile.gif
TibRacer01- This is a pretty easy task. Make sure you have good tools. Some craftsman or sumthing that you know would not crap out on you. Any questions you can pm me if you want.
