Hard to say, depends on how you have to fix it. If it's along the sealing part of the rim, IMO it'll cost a bit more. If it's along the bottom of the rim or away from the seal, it may be cheaper.

With Mad-Machine's idea, bead-blasting, find out who does that in your area. Or even something similar.

if you're going to pay $100 for repairs, you might as well add $20 and get a brand new rim.

zoned019, I could get my neighbour to weld it at his house for nothing as Dmitry said.

What I meant if you have a place in your area that does that. I think you should give them a shout. Even a local welding shop, give them a call and explain their situation.

I've got a leaking back tire(fill up 2x a week also) due to a bad stock rim and 2 bubbles on my front tire...I need new rims/tires in the worst way.

take it to a reputable tire place and see what they say, you might have to go out and get a new rim
