^^ what you are talking about is height adjustment...

The other guy was talking about the dampening (sp?) adj. i.e the shocks setting.

so i think i figured it out, but i have to do some tweaking with the struts to be sure. i think where the stock mounts screw on, the bolt is not down all the way or tight, and is causing it to move when i hit a bump...... hence the sound it makes when i go over bumps. it sounds like something is loose. i think this because the nut on top will not come to a tight stop, and the pole for the shock keeps spinning whenever i tighten it. my plan is to get some vice grips and hold the pole while i tighten them. well see what happens

oh and i think those Grey things are to put in the hole for the camber adjustment so it will not move, but i will have to check that out too

How are those NOT adjustable? They are threaded and have the jam perches to compress the spring.

Sorry redz i meant damping adjustment. You can't adjust them on these

I phoned prostreet an they told me the little pieces are for my brake lines?

ok so i fixed the noise.... on the top of the shock where you reuse the stock mount, i placed two washers underneath it and make sure the mount would come up to a little past the threading, put the mount on and then the supplied washer and lowered the spring down till the metal part of the shock was showing (the inner shiny metallic rod that pistons up and down) and put a pair of vice grips on it and tightened the sucker down. i took it out for a test drive and it rides awesome. that is the only defect of the coil overs that i can see so far.
