Hey guys!
Just wanted to share my NEW Willwood 4 Piston kit with 13 inch rotors front and REAR... smile.gif
The rears need some adjusting with the valve cause i have more rear end braking...........hehehe
All in all im pretty happy with the results

there is no way in hell that will be ok with the stock MC, unless you dont mind 6 inches of pedal travel. wink1.gif
on the rears, did you use an internal parking break assembly, or did you just forget about the parking brake?
you need a proportioning valve to fix that rear brake issue. you cant adjust the stock one, but wilwood makes some nice ones.

If im not mistaken the kit for front and raer was like $2300 shipped........ smile.gif

The thing is i dont have my car and i have not driven it but from what my machanic is saying the rears defently brake harder than the front and yes the kit does come with a proportioning valve which he still ahs to adjust some time this week when he takes it for more road test to get the braking perfect
Also regarding the MC you sure the stock one wont hold up?
If not whats an upgrade for this and who makes a larger MC for our cars
For the E brake cables...Custom cables were supplied with the kit as the stock ones are to short and needed an extenstion of about 20 inches longer..
Also the E brake does work as it has teh drum set up behind the rotor..
Now keep in mind guys the rear kit was not a BOLT ON kit..which is suppose to.......... mad.gif
It Took some modding tring to get it to work and installed..Im not 100% sure but some shaving of about 200 thow was cut to the rear of the drums to make it fit an dwork..
Not sure on the details but as long as it bolts up and its SAFE im OK..
There was alot of clearnace issues which had to be resolved at the expensive of the OWNER which i got my kit from...

nobody makes a larger one for "our" cars. once you go messing with this kind of thing, you gotta do everything custom. wilwood makes a bunch of bigger master cylinders that you can use, the hard brake lines will have to be changed around to fit into it though.
the rears are probably braking a bunch harder because the piston sizes between the front and rear calipers for this entire kit are the same, whereas the stock piston setup has like twice the surface area up front.
i definately dont doubt the rears had to be altered a bunch. they are gonna be tough once i get around to them.

Anyways i noticed something starnge about the BBK that the rear mounting location of the caliper is not in the stock location where its facing th efront of the car(LEFT side of rotor) and the caliper is located and instyalled towrds the rear of the car..
Just wondering if there are any issues with this setup or does both front and rear calieprs have to be faced the same way.

It doesn't look like the pads are contacting the entire surface of the rotor. Like the pad isn't wide enough or something. Huh...
Definately looks killer though, could you take a pic of the entire car from the side? Also, do they let you choose the color of the calipers? Thanks.
