I Need New Rubber... Best Tire Out There Right Now?

Now you just have to remember to keep your wheels turned when you park, so people see that sweet tread pattern fing02.gif
If you're ever out in the rain with those, you'll really enjoy the grip they give. The only downside is the road noise. Its a bit more than some other tires, but then again, thats why they put a volume control on the radio

Yeah i got complimented about the thread on them this morning from someone that i thought was a complete moron..
Hes not that bad of a guy now tongue.gif
My car hardly goes out on the rain..
I used to love driving in the rain..... UNTIL A TREE LANDED ON ME LoL
With my fixed suspension, reinforced frame, new tires... driving this car has become fun again...
Guys, I don't doubt the KDW are the best tires around, aside of that, I just wanted to point out that many times people here (and everywhere) talk about tires forget the differences between the models.
Regards the Kumho's the Ecsta 711 and Ecsta 712 have NOTHING TO DO with the Ecsta MX, the MX's are the Kumho's top of the line for sport tires, the only better tires available in that brand are semi-slick tires.
I just bought a set for my car two weeks ago (used to have Dunlop SP Sport FM901 which were OK) and the Ecsta MX are just better, very fine tires at what is locally a very good price. With a treadwear of 220 is a soft compound tire that does not wear as fast a true sport tire would.
Just wanted to share info with you all.

hell yeah those kdw's are the shyt! i have them, but am runnin winters too. you'll love how they perform around the curves, but the launch stick isn't top notch, but screw it, i'd rather stay glued in the turns
I have hankook tires on my stock rims for winter, the perform pretty well in the snow, but for dry weather they love to squeal around corners, and don't really grip all that well. Although I can't really judge them because they are not sport tires.

I'm on my 2nd set of Ecsta MX's. I absolutely love this tire. They are about $110/each at almost any local shop around that sells Kuhmo tires.
The only problem I do have with them is the wet traction. These tires are not for when its wet outside. Corners I normally can take at 30-40mph I have to slow down to 20ish cause my front tires will start spinning if I give it any gas around the corner. Otherwise, I think Blacktibs and Jaws know I drive like a madman and these tires hold up to everything I throw at them. As long as its dry out, no problems what-so-ever with holding ground. The Treadwear is low, but it makes up for it with the performance of a $300+/each tire from another company. If you ever try these tires, you will not be let down. I don't think I've ever been able to squeel a corner since I got these tires... and I FLY around corners. Like right turns at intersection corners at 30-40mph. Staying in the right lane... hehe.
