Ill explain later in another thread details... car is fine though..

I need new tires though. Im currently set on looking for some kumho 712s

Anything else out there that is better that i should consider? Its been a while since i paid attention to tire reviews.

Any suggestions on the best bang for the buck?

fuzion zri's are cheap and i like em. 60 something a tire.

you want the best tire, there is a new "max performance" gforce summer tire from bf goodrich. im sure that thing sticks like there is no tomorrow. its probably expensive though.

What kind of driving? All around performance? I use Goodyear Eagle F1s. Car and Driver did a review on the top 10 tire manufacturers and it ranked #1. The Eagles are the BEST rain tires and are still near the top for dry performance. The lateral acceleration (wet/dry) is incredible. My last set of tires were the Kumho 712s and they sucked compared to my new Eagles. They cost a little more, but it's worth it for the extra handling capabilities. If you plan on drag racing, I'd pick up some drag radials or slicks and use them whenever you run.

Said it once, said it fifty times.

BF Goodrich KDW-2s.

Buy them. Jaws will love them.

I've just started to use a set of Kumhos, but the Ecsta MX (nothing to do with the ecsta 711's or 712's) they are pretty sticky and comfortable; the only downside is they don't last too long, but for us that like spirited driving, we don't want a tire that lasts forever right wink1.gif

I still swear by my Hankook Ventus HR2's , they rule in the rain!
an H rated tire so it will last longer ( if this is what you are looking for?)

Very grippy in the twisties.

um a h rating doesnt generally mean it will last longer just means how fast you can go with them cool.gif
