So I got part of the answer from SOCKS, if anyone can confirm.
2ng Gen DSM = 1995-1998 Eagle Talon or 95-99 Eclipse.
Right?

Umm, seriously guys. Just get wheels with a 4-lug pattern. The work/price of this would outweigh the benefit. All the rims have the same basic look anyways... a star.

Your autozone link didn't work.
Knowing about the brakes would help for sure.
Moo.
It's not just that easy bro. Our pattern isn't that common, and it's getting harder and harder to find new rims in that pattern. 5 lug patterns increase your wheel choices by THOUSANDS. This way I could get some easier to find lighter wheels.

thats the only way i could get the pics. haha.gif thats the part im talking about. and for the brakes you will keep the ones you are using currently, after re-drilling the current discs to acomodate the new bolt pattern. or you could get some rotorpro set made to fit.

Hmm, did a bit of Ebay searching...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-WHEEL-HUB...sspagenameZWDVW
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?s...earch&fgtp=
Seems you can get them brand new for about $89 for one, or I think I saw one that was both sides for $140.
Anyways, what do you do? Get this pressed in place?
We might be able to do this for dirt cheap.
This sure is promising.
I started looking on ebay at the DSM pictures (Links above) of these pieces, and the Hyundai versions from the RD's, RD Elantra's, and the GK's, and for sure, it looks like the rears are IDENTICAL between the RD and GK, except for the number of lugs.
RD front hub assy (minus bearings)

Why wouldn't the New Tib rotors work with our cars if we did the swap to new hubs? If the pattern isn't 5x114.3 on the DSM hubs, then why couldn't we just get a set of the rotors from that car if the OD isn't too much different?
What do you guys in P.R. do aside from redrilling OEM rotors.
Good thing I'm such good friends with the owner of Rotorworks huh? I'll have him make my set up, and if anyone else wants any after I have a full swap over kit, I'll start selling the whole thing from FlyRyde so you guys can save on shipping. Instead of paying shipping from 4 different companies, we'll just have it all in once nice padded box =)

^^^ i dont understand the question. brake wise or general mods? if you are talking about brakes they mostly leave the stock ones or maybe get some crossdrilled. if is in general mods, they are wierd down there... LOL you guys prolly end up like this bigeyes.gif stay tuned at Turbo Magazine. Robert Choo the editor of the magazine went to PR last month and returned lask week again. so pretty soon you will see a complete edition of puertorican cars, from a 93-96 mirage turned EVO 3, complete with AWD to a DD 800hp honda prelude. crazy stuff. ok i went OT. LOL I will make a thread about that stuff later.
I'm going to try to convince my buddy that has a GK to test fit the rear hub and disc, if he says yes I'll take some pics and mesure everything. on the front well i may have to go to the junker to get a hub to test fit it.IF everything lines up perfect I'm going to try to do the swap in about 2 weeks, if i can get the parts cheap locally. i've seen a couple 2nd gen dsm at a local junker.
I've been ganting to do this for a while but the guys in PR are VERY secretive about how they do stuff. its a shame some of them are like that.

like i said previously..
use the GK hubs and rotors for the rear
use the Gk hubs and redrill rotors for the front
we might be able to find a bolt on front brake rotors
i jsut don't understand what's so compicated about this?
