Default H&R Sport

Finally broke down and ordered some lowering springs for the ride. The H&R for the Elantra's give it the nice rake effect which is what I am looking for. Now there will be no more wheelie effect going on with the front end. Woo-hoo!! cool.gif

Congrats!

I can't lower anything because I scrape all of my cars getting into my driveway already. sad.gif

I couldn't do it with the 18's because they're to wide. Looking into some17's for this summer that won't be a problem with the springs.

So they went in today with the help of some local Hyundai buddies.

Before (only pic I could find was from last fall). Notice the wheel gap, especially in the front:

Very nice! Give it a couple of weeks before you get an alignment. It will sink a little bit lower once the springs break in. smile.gif What strut package are you using, and hows the ride so far? I bet cornering is hella fun now and its a more firmer ride than stock, eh?

I put the KYB GR2's (Elantra) in with the H&R's. Cornering is a breeze now and the ride is a bit stiffer though worth every extra jolt! I love this mod and I can't believe I waited 4 years to do it.

Looks good. I've decided to lower my Accent too one of these days finally. I'll just try not to tear my exhaust off getting into my driveway. lol.
