Steve,
I know mine looks a lil' different but it also has a hose connecting to the IM exactly like yours, so I'm assuming it serves the same purpose.

As you drive on the left side of the road, it would not surprise that me that Hyundai moved the knock reference signal to the other side of the car. Generally, the shoulder of any road is in rougher shape than the crown, so it would be more likely to pick up a real knock signal rather than dismissing it due to road "noise"
And we do have an UK source, REDZ.. do not forget that we have Hob over there... how much was the bar with shipping to you, Steve?

Mine has a "Bosch" sensor sitting up there(I think it's the same thing, different side though since mines the US model)...I always wondered why it was there.

Thanks Steve... $137 is not TOO bad considering it is nicely polished AND a sparco....
And I still think it has a lot to do with the way the roads are. It may also have something to do with the wiring in the UK tibs. As only a few countries drive on your side of the road, who want's to bed that Hyundai just "flopped" tha harness over for the dash and controls?

No, what pisses me off is that those parts aren't SOLD over here. JUst like EBC and their rear greenstuff pads.
Or Goodridge and the brake lines.

it looks to me like the new map sensor, could be wrong. now just get you a pair aof pilers and bend the bracket to your likeing so it does not hit the strut bar.
