I haven't installed mine yet. But now I'm VERY sceptical about doing so.

thanks tibby 01 for the support. there are a number of things that could have gone wrong.

what throws me off it it's peculiar because i don't think anybody out of this thread had problems with stock lines that either came with the tiburons or after installation. one would think that these would at least hold for at least 6 months - 1 year+, compared to the stock lines would. We need an official count as to how many went bad and as REDZ said out of 150 sets of 4. then we can get some estimates and see what kind of percentages we're dealing with here.

java, i will PM you. are you sure? it could just be some of us unfortunate ones. but... brakes are probably the most important thing on a car.

mad, don't stress over, just check 'em regularly, avoid heavy braking, and keep your eyes and senses open.

2 of mine are leaking/busted as well, one very badly, horrible horrible braking, and thats with brand new pads and d/s rotors.

so theres another 2 of the original 600 individual lines

hmm that makes me worry even more...

Me and blktibs have probably put these lines to use more than most... we do live in Los Angeles, were stop and go traffic is a daily hassle..

The more stop and go in traffic.. the more abuse these lines are taking...
So... eventually.. 02.gif

Hmmm.. im going to email them again..
then if they dont respond, report them to the BBB... just to mess with their head.

as one who values brakes over every other part of the car... I am going to have to keep a close eye on mine and then come spring, maybe I will replace them with something I trust more.
