the price seems reasonable...

The rear brakes are a bit more complicated than the front...

sorry, my point was that that rotor size they chose, and the 4 pistion calipers are overkill for rear brakes.

a 2 pistion caliper and a smaller rotor would make more sense.

Damn i was hopeing for a bit less than that, I dont heve thier front kit but even as stock the front wheels lock up way before the rears and with the SR front upgrade on the way i was hopeing for something to balance the rear out a bit.

my new reply to them:

QUOTE
thanks virgil, well I can tell you they have asked me to find out the following...

As you said you're doing everything as it comes... basically nobody wants a huge rotor on the rear with huge calipers... basically people just want a kit that compliments your FRONT system...

What are the chances that you talk to Daryl and ask him, if the tiburon brakes can be something like 11" rotors instead of the 13" and a 2 piston caliper instead of 4 piston... In truth the 13" with 4 piston calipers are overkill for us... I mean my tib is turbo but most aren't and they don't need that much stopping power, which with the fronts is enough...

Can you please find that out for us please...

allright everyone, I'm happy with this reply... what do you guys think???

Hey Yuri,

Because we have to fit the new rotor set up over the existing drum (parking drum), the rotors would have to be at least 12"...an 11" would be too much of a squeeze.

Daryl says that he can work out a Rotor only upgrade for you guys. It would be a 12 or 12.19" rotor, with brackets and lines. It would utilize the existing caliper. He says that this option would run you $699.00.
