Default BIG BRAKE "REAR" Upgrade - NEW UPDATE :)

Allright guys, like I said, I've been pushing and pushing for it... and I finally got it, here's the word:

QUOTE
Hi Yuri,

I have talked to Daryl, and he says that as soon as someone orders a kit for
the rear, we will develop it.
It has gotten to the point that that is the way it is working. Business is
growing, and there is no time to just develop kits on spec.

If you guys are interested...order. We will figure cost and such as soon as
someone contacts us, but it shouldn't be too bad.
If you guys want to help yourselves....organize a group buy and get a
discount on the cost.

Hope to hear from you.
Regards
Virgil Ray
Precision Brakes Company
Let me get the names first of who's up for it??? Post your name/screen name/email and I will create a group, and deal with you guys only...

You've all seen their work on the front rotors, so you know what they're all about... let's show them when can put it together...

thanks guys

P.S. for those that have never seen their "front" brakes setup, here you are... these CUSTOM "A" setup go for $1,000.00 exactly as you see there...

I'm waiting for a new reply from my guys, and I will make sure, but I believe the REAR brakes, although they will be bigger than stock, won't be as big as the front, so they shouldn't be $1,000.00 and with the group buy, maybe we can lower them even more...

I have the fronts and definitely interested in the rear if I'll be able to afford them.
The only thing that worries me is our stock master cylinder. Is it gonna be good for 2 big brakes?

i'm all for this, but i think you're gonna have a hard time getting a good group buy going. most people haven't invested the grand to get the front done yet, so it would be kinda pointless to invest in a rear big brake kit for those people, but i hope it works out for you. i would like to see precision brakes actually produce this unit, as i'd be interested in it in the future.

well I know of at least 5 people that have purchased the fronts, so I guess you're correct, those are the ones I'm aiming for... they don't want 10-15 people, I'm sure with 5 this can be done, at a lower price, they are closed today but as soon as monday comes, I will contact them... smile.gif

if you can get a price i may be in. ive been trying to contact them just to order the front but they dont answer my emails. id actually like to get both done at the same time so i'll order both if the price is decent.

Ok, just emailed them again, in case i don't hear from my guy today, I will call them tomorrow...

But I have asked for a price if 1 person orders and the price if 5 order... also the size of the planned rotors/calipers... Most likely the rear kit will come with exaxtly the same things the front kit come from... I really doubt the rear kit will be as big as the fronts, maybe something like 11" and not 13"... but I don't know, I'm happy with bigger than stock if they lower the price from 1k to about 800 bux... smile.gif
