I initially had trouble with driver handling when I changed from 15inch wheels to 17inch.

Problems
lost some turning circle
tyres rubbing on the wheel guards
driving handling was rough

Fixed the problem
changed to brand street tyres Kumho Ecsta
tire sizing front 215/45/17 rear 235/45/17
4 wheel alignment
front wheel guard rolling and widened
front wheels was machined to modify the offset

17s will slow you down, but not because of a bigger circumference. its because there is more weight further from the center of the wheel which increases the moment required to get it moving.

Yep, 17's do slow you down even if they are lighter then the stock wheels. I've had 15's, 16's and 17's on my car, and I eventually went back to 15's! Reguardless, it's good that you like your new wheels and I'm looking forward to seeing how they look on your car! smile.gif
