If you had the extra money laying around?

You Can Buy A McLaren 12C For $37,000 But Maybe You Shouldn't
Do you want a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 midengined McLaren 12C supercar? Of course you do. Now, at just $37,000 you can afford one!
Okay, so it's a salvage title thanks to "Damage: WATER/FLOOD" and "Title: CERT OF SALV BRANDED FLOOD." Given that the car is listed in New York, it sounds like we're looking at a victim of Sandy.
The listing on Salvage World states that the car runs and drives, but we don't exactly recommend you pick it up. Flooded cars can be a major hassle, as we briefly covered in the immediate aftermath of Sandy.
See the full McLaren listing right here.

I sure as hell would!

Done!! IF I hadn't spent the down payment money on mods for the Tib and buying the a-dub, this car would be on a truck tomorrow in route to Atlanta. And I would be sleeping in it, because I'd never be allowed back in the house. But small price to pay.
Bid currently at 83K. I could think of a few things I would spend 83K on before buying a flood damaged McLaren. You might just end up with a GIANT headache. OR. Maybe it barely got touched by the water and is in perfect condition?

I would buy it. WORST case scenario engine rebuild and run on a standalone with a stripped interior. Best case? Put the key in and drive.

And ones a mid engined V8 twin turbo hypercar with only a few hand made models available, the other is an overpriced budget twin turbo V6 supercar built to drive like a playstation and mass produced like one as well.
Also value:
1994 McLauren F1 sold in 2013 would command millions (plural). The cheapest sold in the last 48 months I could find was $930k
1994 Nissan Skyline GTR sold "state legal" in the US market can fetch a price as high as 30k, but the savy shopper can find "state legal" models for under 8k.
