They're Here! (genesis Coupe)
yes i heard that too, that the turbo coupe is running 15 psi out the dealer, so it uses the same block as the evo 10 motor? so turbo coupe could put out jst as much power as the evo 10 by simply upgrading the turbo or boosting higher?

relax at what. im not worked up, just saying its not low boost.. not even just to your statement, but to the original information that hyundai gave to the consumers about running a efficient, low boost setup because they wanted to balance things, when in fact, they are running high boost.
I don't know where you got your infos, but the Hyundai techs I know that got the Genesis Coupe course said the boost pressure is just under 3 PSI ...
LOL, then they are dead wrong.. lmao.gif lmao.gif
of course, you are in canada.
there wouldn't be a point in turbocharging a oem car under 8psi. specially with that small of a turbo.
got my info from butt loads on compiled info at the gencoupe forums.
the theta motor in the gen coupe is a 2.0L with 9.4:1 compression. N/A the motor would prob have less hp than a beta from the low compression. 3psi wouldn't put the car close to 200hp
