Weigh the price difference. That's what swayed me. Hell, go drive a Sorento or Santa Fe with the 3.8, then imagine it has 48 more HP in a RWD coupe at 1/2 the weight.
Not to mention, you get the auto temp control, and a bunch more nice stuff with the 3.8L.

Intrigue bit me today so I went over to snag some photos and shoot the breeze:
Sorry these aren't perfect, I had to use my phone

Yeah that's the wife out of focus in the 5th pic.
Yeah its an auto, but with paddle shifters it might still be some fun. Personally I'll hold out for the manual to come available but all the dealers in the state that got the coupe only got autos. This dealer also says there's gonna be an option for a CF grill that deletes the "H" logo and looks more like the prototype for under $300, as well as a other dealer options which will be covered by the warranty. Considering they offer a short ram Accent there should be one for the coupe as well shortly. After the hour I spent there today drooling I was put on a list so they are going to call me as soon a the 2.0L Track comes available. fing02.gif
I'm seriously temped if career options pan out properly by summer.

Mine's gonna be my track-slut (not gutted, but no plush DD either), so aftermarket support is more important than that fru-fru stuff. It's gonna come down to price, weight and aftermarket support for me. Although I do really like that blue (which isn't available on the 2.0T)...

What I was getting at when talking about the 3.8, is that it kicks ass in it's normal form. The modified version in the Coupe...
Good lord.
And that's right. But there are still certain colors that are only available in certain models. Go check out the site at hyundaiusa.com
As for the grill, it's already out. I posted it in the shoutbox last week.
