Man that is tempting, but I would really like to keep the beta 1 for emissions purposes and due to the fact that I have so much in the cylinder head.
Also the pistons I have are for a beta 1 (don't know if they are the same). Wiseco lists them for use in the 97-00 beta 1 engines only, although the pauter rods are for both beta 1's and 2's.
So anyone have a beta 1 with decently low miles for sale other than socks?

Hey i have 2 motors for sell and most likly a set of wesico pistons 9:1 and a set of pauter rods for sell. Im going to the Football game tonight so i will have to get back with you tomorrow and get you pictures later this week.

a beta2 engine can also be used
just swap the beta1 stuff on it and order a new oil restrictor if you use the beta1 head

I have a complete BetaI short block you can have. It has 88,000 miles on it. Most of the part of off of it, including the head. But you can have it if you want to make a road trip.
