Anyone have a 1.8l ecu (non rev-a) and cam?

 

www.seoulfulracing.com = Cam.

 

www.car-part.com = ECU

 

when i get the ecu, does it matter if it is out of an auto or manual?

also, does a elantra made in 11/97 count as a 1998 and is therefore a non rev-a?

 

Auto vs. manual doesn't make a difference. Not sure about Rev-A.

The Rev-A was in 1997. THIS IS WHY YOU WANT A 1998 1.8l ELANTRA OR TIBURON ECU!!!

If you get a 1998, you won't get a REV A ecu, unless the person swapped that POS in there.

I wouldn't risk it. Did you go to car-part.com? I'm guessing not...

Lowest price on I saw, if that's too high, forget about any mods.

Go to car-par.com, and search for: 1998 Elantra (or Tiburon, select 1.8L option later) Engine Computer. Simple.
