have you tried carpart.com? if not search for "98 elantra" there will be quite a few that come up, the page w/ the lowest prices should have an asterisk. i got mine for $35 shipped!

*sorry i meant car-part.com!
well what you do is you call up that junkyard that has the part you are looking for and you'll have to work shipping out with the junkyard. than they ship it to you and you install and enjoy!

i plan on it. i ordered it monday and he told me its is going to be here wednesday. and this weekend i am going to take a road trip so if i get it in time and put it in the i get to test out the fuel milage right away. i also have the 1.8 cam i want to put in but i am going to do the ecu first to see if i can feel the difference then when i put the cam in i might switch back to the 2.0 ecu to see what combination feels better.

well, when i first installed it i loved it. it was alot smother throughout the rpms with no dead spots. i did not notice any increase in MPG but i am still working on getting that better. then i took it on the highway and i did notice that my mpg increased on the highway but nothing in the city. but i have decided to switch back to my 2.0 only because the ecu that i got which was the "good one" has a speed cut off at 110 mph.
