i found my old thread here. so i still need everything for the tranny swap so if anyone can help me out on getting everything that would be awesome.

i just found this, it is a list of everything needed for the swap. please let me know if anything is missing or wrong. thanks. and if anyone has any of this stuff let me know. thanks a lot

transmission

starter for manual trans. Same as an auto

Manual CV joints, you can use autos, but manuals are a hair shorter, and they don’t have a huge damper on the axle

top transmission mount on the frame side and the tranny side bracket that holds the rubber hose from the slave cyl to master cyl

rear transmission bracket the rubber mounted part that bolts 2 the frame

the front transmission side mount and both the round rubber mounts on the crossmember

and the cross member, sam as the manual

the bolts that hold the mounts 2 the tranny same as the manual

the bolts that hold the tranny 2 the engine

the bolts that hold the drive plate to the flywheel different, the manuals are longer

the bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel, you will get that is if you buy a new clutch pressure plate nad flywheel

the mount that holds the cables to the tranny they should be on the manual

2 more cable locks to hold the cables also with the tranny

the bolts to hold the slave cyl to the tranny

you need the clevis pin and snap clip to hold both the master cyl to the pedal and the fulcram 2 the slave cyl.

you need the 2 nuts that hold the master cyl to the pedals

tranny cable grommet different, a little cutting is in order here, BEWARE, look at the DIY

the fulcram that holds the shift fork to the slave cyl, the washer and stuff that goes with it

brake pedal and bolts

clutch pedal and bolts

plastic trim piece around shifter, with leather boot

ok i found a transmission, now i just need everything else to do it. so if someone can help me out on what all i need and if you have this stuff please let me know. thanks

Hey, i am parting out a 97 tib. I dunno if the parts would work on your 00, but I think they would. Might want to get this clarified with someone who knows more about the differences between the years.

Anyway, the car was a 5 speed so I have everything you would need except for the clutch master cylinder. I could take out everything I think would be involved and ship it to you somehow.

Get back to me with what you have gotten already and throw out a price for all of this stuff (that is, if it will work between the rd1 and rd2, still not sure...)

Oh yeah, wouldn't you need the flywheel and clutch/pressure plate too? I am almost positive that will not work from my 97.

Thanks man.
