ok, i have a similar but unrelated question...
i called advance auto parts about NGK wires, cuz i know they offer 'em, and i asked about colored wires, and they said something to the affect that the ones that are colored are not direct "bolt on" (forgot the term he used) wires. meaning...not OEM ready (if that makes sense).
how true is that? and if it is, where can i get the colored ones? i want blue plugs/wires

Doode, NGK's come in blue.
The OEM fit ones I've got are BLUE. Want the part #?
NGK # RC-XX90
Stock # 8790
They may not need that Stock #.
Call around to the local parts stores and see who can get them cheapest.

I think they are the kits where all the cables are the same length and you cut them to fit, and put the end pieces on.

Yes, you can make your own wires from almost any brand. What I was thinking of doing was creating my own set of 10mm Magnecor R-100's. This is after I get my turbo running well and probably with either an MSD or standalone.

Someone toldme you can get Magnecor's in blue now, but I haven't seen them.
As for the part #, it's as I wrote above. Call up the shop and tell them that #. Or get them online like I did and save some money. You can get NGK's on ebay for CHEAP.
