I got home fine tonight, no CEL's however when i poped the hood to check the bolts on the header, there is a LOT of smoke and a sizzling noise. I cant see where it is comming from but i will take a closer look in a minute.

It sounds like it is comming from the power stearing pump side and that is where most of the smoke is comming from... also the dip stick holder is exceptionally hot from hitting the downpipe... could it be oil in the dip stick holder burning off?

it isnt just fluids burning off, because after 3 hours of driving, they all would have been long burned off by now. any ideas?

Seems that when we mounted the fans, the torque from the factory fan we re used twisted it enough to cause the zip tie to crack one of the cooling coils on the condensor... sad.gif it is 300 bucks for a new one, do you have any good junk yard connections? I am going to try to JB weld up the hole first and see if i can get it to hold a freon charge that way, and also lookin at making another way to mount up the fans tongue.gif

just wanted to keep ya updated.

Btw did we use a new exhaust manifold gasket or re use the old one?
