since i have been reading and we will have to do a bit of work anyway, how much would it cost to go with an externally gated setup?

you would need to buy a new manifold, turbo, downpipe, dump pipe, and some retuning...

So your looking at half a new kit..

 

why not just have the flange added to the old manifold? why a new turbo i dont see the reasoning behind it, or a new DP, you would have to have a dump pipe made

 

i do my own tuning, so i would need the existing stuff i have moded, however since he may be making my exhaust and we have to change out my turbo because the inner seals are blown in this one... i thought i would ask his price...

so maybe tim would trade me out turbo's and sell the turbo that WOULD replace mine to someone else... since it will be new... and MAYBE he will be willing to quickly weld up a new flange and dump pipe... and then i would buy a waste gate yadda yadda, but again, it is up to tim and that is why i asked tim!
