RSide SS thoughts
I have already learned to deal with it. I have put on about 500 miles with this shifter (I drive alot!!!) and I don't quite know how I lived without it. I was on a divided road yesterday afternoon and there was no traffic, so I took off in first and shifted to second at about 6500 RPM and it felt GREAT! I haven't has such a solid shift in a manual since the stang. Also, I haven't had any grinding problems in my 1-2 shift since install, but, I don't shift into second at high RPMs that often... anymore.
Oh yeah, Redz, I thought I had PM'd you about a Kspec sticker during the group buy. You can just keep it until my next purchase 8) .

First I just wanna say thank's to REDZ for getting us the shifters, I have to say this is the best shifter that I have had in my tib so far and I'm very happy with it, I tried every other shifter on the market SR, B&M, OBX and none of the felt this good.
As far as the shifter hitting I solved the problem by adjusting my shifter cables to a position where it does not hit, just put the shifter into the position where it hits, loosen up the lock nuts on the cable adjusters and adjust them, it only took me 5 minutes to get it to a good position and now it's working great.

yea... so do we foresee any problems with this hitting on these R-Side Shifters?
Nope. You usually don't shift really HARD into 1st anyways, it should be ok.
Fantastic idea with the adjusting mang, take some pictures.
I'm glad it all went so well for you guys, ya'll keep me going ya know. Kspec.com rules.
as far as YOU GUYS ;-) hitting your fingers on the cup holder...............JAVA and I chated about it in Aquamarines SS DIY (about 1/2 way down). Very easy fix.....i think my metric wrench sizes (you will need 2 of whatever size it is) are off in that post tho..........but basically you loosen both of the nuts on the cable that sits closest to the shifter, then move them so it pulls the shift knob back towards you. I'll check the sizes this afternoon when i put mine in.
Thoughts ..............REDZ you said this shifter was height adjustable...........BUT DAMN, it looks like almost every part on it is adjustable. :-) I'm gonna mess w/ it a bit b4 the install.
