What are your safety concerns?

Has anyone thought of not replacing their steering wheels with an after market one because of the air bag? lol

All good points everyone, no pre-drills then, lol.

So what exactly do we need to get this going and how long would it take to get some products shipped out?

Also, have you ever done parts as large and challenging as our hatch (I would say it would be a pretty difficult task to get all the curves and mounts JUST right)?

Thanks everyone.

yes, I make trunk lids and hoods. The finished product is only as good as the mold. A quality mold will reproduce the part exactely as OEM.

Is anyone interested other than me?

What price will it be? any final thoughts?

Did you check for a possibility of shipping to Israel 23041?

Thanks!

i would say once u get the mold done and get a prototype bolted up there could be a pretty good demand, 10 is good... but people commiting money to have the layup done for a prototype might be slow. pics are good motivation to get ur deposits in fing02.gif

this is one of my 1st priority's once i get a job. lol hail.gif

He wont even attempt the mold without for sure buyers with deposits. Think of the costs. He has to get an oem hatch first of all. And then Im sure thats a ton of work. Plus, final price with shipping to the states will be more than anyone expects for sure.

I would really love one for my RD2 if we ever got to a point of being able to do them. I would like to see what a likely price would be with 5 buyers.

Well, getting the hatch won't be a problem, there's always junkyards in the GTA with tiburons. I could have my husband try to get one on a $45 parts day if need be.
