Well, I know a lot of folks just want to get them for looks, and that's fine. I have a power antenna otherwise I'd ask for a blue one. I just know a buddy that has one of the same type for his GK and doesn't get any radio stations.

Yep.. others does ... But we made as functional Antenna.. And we already got feedback about antenna as.." better than OEM antenna frequency " from NT forum...

Just for clarification for you guys, the 2001 Tib does NOT use the same Short Shifter as the 2003 and up.
In 2001, a very limited amount of Tiburons came with a white shifter base plate. The ones with that installed, need the same shifter as a 2001 Elantra, when the XD started. This one, I've been told, is the same as the 2003 and up Tiburon 5 speeds.
Again though, only about 5% of 2001 Tiburons have that white shift plate.
