Uhm, what would you need an adapter for an antenna?
Won't that fade in the sun?

ARk, also, be careful, you edited someone's post.
here lemme answer some questions for you:
anodized (google search):
Anodize has no reaction to UV. Some dyes that are used (organic dyes) will fade however. Plain metal or metal dyed with FAO gold or electrolytic color will show little if any discoloration. Long term exterior exposure will eventually cause some bloom, fine white powder, but this is very long term (many years.) It is weathering, not UV related.
rd1 exhaust versus rd2 exhaust: i believe we are differentiating a little because of the oval flange and the 3 bolt flange
also: exhaust sounds really nice. if you put in the resonator, you would be quite suprised by the nice sound...even without the resonator, not too loud not too little
some GK samples: v6 though
http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~haiwei/MOV00483.mpeg - tiburon_balla - headers straight back, no cats
http://www.geocities.com/pikablu_the_1st/100_1519.wav - nightv - just cai

It's not our system, you hit EDIT on someone's post instead of QUOTE. It happens now and then to folks with moderator status.
See?
Also, I know what Anodizing something is, but like I said, doesn't it fade in UV? That's why I wouldn't get one.
What's the adapter for?

yea i know what you mean, im really want to purchase an exaust soon too but with these three choices i'll have to choose carfully. i guess the feedback we get from the owners of 1st Gen tibs that buy the ark exaust will give us some info on the exaust and its owners likes/dislikes.
recieval is one thing, time is another (quality that is). i hope so 01tibby341. i sure do hope so.
hmmm, i thought the quote i said it is not affected by UV, the only thing affecting it is the weather, and that's after a while.
adapter is needed. here's why: originally developed for the gk tib, in order to simply our costs, just by creating an adapter, it will fit

Well, you did say that some pigments will fade in UV, will the ones you guys are gonna use?
If it's Aluminum, Billet, and has an adapter, it won't get reception worth SHIT though. I've seen plenty of folks with small billet Alluminum antennas and they don't get any reception.

we're willing to have a test mule for it, to see what reception is truly had

Hey I was actually looking at getting one of these even if the recption was bad (use sirius radio). But I would be a test mule and let ya know how the reception on the regular radio is.
