We know all of this. Samco Sport is in the UK. They hand make these one set at a time. I posted all of that. Yes, these are for the GK I4, but they fit perfectly.

Just contact Samco, tell them that you and others have purchased their hoses a few months ago and want to know what the hold up is. Let them know company names and such.

Ok, i did pm phantom and also emailed samco and here is a copy to what samco told me:

Thanks for the enquiry. I'm afraid that all our hoses in the US are sold through 4 dealers. Unfortunately Phantom are not one of these, so you will need to contact one of our 4 US wholesale distributors who sells to them (details at www.samcosport.com). The only thing I can say is that it usually takes around 5 weeks for an order from the date we get it to the date it arrives at our distributor so it looks like there may be a problem with this order..

Best Regards

Samco Sport Sales

So what's with this??

Phantom, if you see this, who did you get the orders from (4 US wholesale)? And why has it taken more than the usuall estimated time. Dont say its cause its for Tiburons. In the e-mail i sent them i told them it was for 03+ Hyundai Tiburons. So dont come with that.

I want some info on this ASAP.

It's been well over 5 weeks plus s/h from the UK to the distributor.

Why don't you just forward that same email to the distributors on their site?

Well we aren't direct through Samco, we go through another company to get the hoses. I will recontact and find out whats going on. No where did I say I was directly through Samco but none of the vendors we go through had them in stock due to them being tiburons.

No one said you were dealing direct with Samco bro, we knew that from earlier in the thread. All we are saying is the time when these should have been in folks hands is past, by quite a bit.

Folks just want their orders, or a status on them.

Same is coming up with the Apexi exhausts. If they were shipped sea freight, they should be in the USA by now.

Well I was just clarifying cause the way I read the post it said they called Samco themselves and of course if we aren't direct we won't show up.

Either way the update is, they were backed up, that is why its taking a while to get made, shipped etc. Factors have played a part in it such as, from what I was told....race season, from their sales time comparative to the time of order until now is slower then usual. Also they have to order in the materials to make these hoses and apparently black is the most popular. Also I was told a higher authority within Samco along with a few other workers are no longer with the company and due to that it slowed them down as well. Most businesses that sell
I have been notified of these and I said any updates I would post.

Also it is getting close for the exhaust systems, originally we asked for air freight but due to an huge amount to do that, the vendor choose not to air freight them. In reality the price for these systems were cheap and there wasn't much mark up at all, not enough to cover air freight plus shipping to you guys because I was unaware of the amount it would cost for 8 systems that was on that order, it would of made us have to charge you guys more and we just couldn't do that. It was a good enough deal in my opinion just for the price we listed them at and even getting them as apparently no other business was wanting to have them made because it was ALOT of phone calls and convincing on our part to get them done.

Once again they said they would notify me as soon as they are in the states. I apologize guys I honestly didn't know special ordering would present any problems at all.

I hope this helps as this is all the information I got and like I said I would pass it on to you guys.

Thanks
Michelle

Update on the hoses.

It will only be about two more weeks until they are shipped out to you guys. Basically same situation that is on the exhaust systems. They have to be checked in to the wholesaler first then out to us to get them to you guys. I also have been talking to them to get them drop shipped to you guys as long as they check them out first to ensure nothing is damaged due to the overseas shipping. I don't want to have a crack, cut, or anything of any sort on those hoses.

Once again just like the exhausts, I had no idea it would take this long or we would of done a group buy on something that didn't have to be made overseas.

Thanks!
