Since the other thread died before I could respond...
I'm starting to wish I took pictures, I'm not a liar.
This still doesnt resolve the fact that I have no refund or a replacement set of pads.

It looked like someone had been beating them with a hammer. Also, the leading and trailing edges of the pads look like they had been filed down. Must have been later, because a couple weeks after they came back, sam was actually here and looked at them. He couldnt find any of the blemishes you mentioned on them, not to mention no odor at all...
