Default headlights?

hey, SR,
are you guys there? well i sent a email, and i haven't heard a response. I was wondering if you know what the deal is with my headlights. You know, im the guy who went directly to SR in oceanside to pick up the GTR kit, and bought the lights along with it. It would be much appreciated if i could be enlighted on the status of the headlights. It sucks driving with only one light. thanks.

hey, finally got the lights. But im wondering, what is the difference from the korean spec and the american spec? the cover still looks and feels like plastic to me. so this is perplexing. I thought that the cover was suppose to be glass. Was there an option to chose glass or plastic? Also the Card key and the decals that came with the package are tight. thanks

Gen1's are glass. They also use H1 bulbs for high beam and low beam, not the 9005/9006 of the USA spec lights.

They also have an installed "city light" in the high beam housing. You'll have to self wire power to that 5th and 6th wire in the USA spec wiring harness to get the city light to work, as the USA spec lights/wiring doesn't have the option for the city light.

The beam pattern of the low beams is also significantly differnt. Rather than being very level, the low beams are level on the left side, and go up sharply on the right. So, rather than _______ beam pattern, you will now have ___/ for the 2 low beams. The high beams appear unchanged.
