going to be starting the molding process pretty soon on these.

Once the door sill GB is finished I should have the mold done and ready to pop out some parts

I want one just because it looks sweet but I don't need boost gauges or anything. What would an N/A guy put in there?

CD, how are you doing these?

1 full pillar replacement?

1/2 pillar replacement?

2 1/2 pillar replacements (one per side like the XD guys)?

Id personally love a matching blank one on the passenger side. But I dont see these selling in CF a lot which is who would want it to match. I would be down for both.

Well my personal pref would be for a full pillar replacement. ie like the elantra gauge pillar pods. The good thing for those is that the piece doesn't extend over the drivers door, so shipping is relatively inexpensive, about $20 bucks.
Like the GK pillars though, the RD type extend over the drivers door. Shipping range is $30-$40ish due to the size and boxes req'd

I'm just guestimating but price for the pods will probably be around $80-$100 plus shipping. From what I've read on the previously available guage pod, they were ALOT more than that. correct?

Voltmeter, A/F ratio guage, and a tire psi meter? LOL, there isn't much else out there. Hmm... maybe a tiny TV screen?

I hope this G/B goes smoothly. BTW, the extra shipping charges wouldn't matter to most of us if we could get the full replacement. Although the box I just sent you was only a little shorter than what you would use for the full pillars and I paid $19.90 shipped priority so you might want to look into that before doing anything.

Yes, they were, not to mention CD, the new one didn't match up in color or texture with the OEM one, so the 2 sides looked different.

I'd do a poll here if I were you.

Personally, I'd want 2 1/2 pillar replacements, and cut the OEM ones in 1/2. This way the 2 sides lookthe same.

That would be fine as long as it overlays somewhat on the stock piece and looks good
