depends on what the language is in. I'm still very limited in my knowledge.

What do you need done? Give me the project information and I will try to see what I can do. I can only still do command line style interfaces.

I *might* be able to help some, I can do command line crap, as well as GUI in windows (using Delphi/Pascal), and soon I will be able to program gui apps for X/MacOS/Windows using c/c++ & SDL and maybe ParaGUI (still getting familliar with the libraries). My family and my employer have first dibs on my time though, so time is kinda sparse. What lang/libs are you currently using?

Okay, there's a lot of, uh..."discussion" going on about this post via email, chat, and on other boards. I'll summarize the points.

Could we get a copy of the real dyno?
Could we get a "corrected" copy rather than uncorrected?
Could we get a dyno that goes to 6500 RPM? (HP and torque start to fall off at 5700/5800 RPM, how bad does it fall by 6500?)
Could we get a dyno where HP and Torque are on the same scale? (notice HP/Torque don't cross at 5252 rpm, they cross at 4900 RPM, which shows that HP and torque are on different scales)

"By the graph you can see that the boost responce is very good under 3000RPM"
The HP and Torque numbers in the under 3000 RPM are a match for stock...how is that "good turbo response"? It's "stock"...how are stock numbers "good".

I Can tell you Tony that I have spoken to Chris about this, and have mentioned many of the points you have, and he has agreed to try his best to follow thru with them... he is trying to get all the pictures done, and everything complete...

I have also talked to MAIER about his kit, I'm waiting on this pics also to be posted, although I know he doesn't want to show the car yet, but I feel it's time to at least post pictures of the complete KIT...

Well as for a complete kit goes. I did post the pictures on hyundai performance once. They are actually in a thread called "Here is my turbo pics" (or at least I believe that was the title)

The pictures are online. They just need to be found.

As for my car..it is going very very very slowly. Due to the wait for some parts from various companies, my project is basically at a standstill.

here's the problem man, we've all seen those pics, and those are the same Chris has had for a while... we need to see the pics of them at your house, what I mean by this is pics that are in the US already... and complete please... all the tubing/turbine/injectors/bov/wastegate/manifold/etc. you get my point...

all as 1 picture... it can be done, i've done it... and if they're already in your car, well then if you can go to where your car is and take a picture of your engine bay, there's no seeing the rest of your car, so don't worry about that... just the engine and I'm sure many of them will be happy about this... this is what they need 1 COMPLETE PICTURE of everything... If you can't do it, this is what I spoke to Chris about, if he's able to do the same, he said yes... smile.gif

it's not for me man, it's for all those that believe it doesn't exist, but unfortunately this is the only way they are happy, and all in all they are customers... I went thru the same deal with KORE and once they began to get pics up more people were happy, well same thing I'm suggesting to Chris... and I feel he understood...

Maier --

Thanks for the offer - I need a GUI setup as I have online guages and other neat things I want to incorporate into the tuning S/ware.

I will hang on for now....

Random, I have scanned the "real dyno" in (the one I plotted is actually more real than the scanned in version as it is uncorrected) BUT it is 11MB in size....

I do not run ANY car on the dyno that rev limits at 6500 to it's limiter --- thats plain and simply stupid - revving and loading the engine at that RPM (on a Load dyno) is only destructive, no good can result from this.

As I mentioned in the post above - the torque and HP WILL hold high up till around 7000RPM if the boost is increased to around 12 - 15psi as this is where the turbochargers compressor effeciency is at it's best.

Random -- stock numbers good (HOW?)..... uummmm rolleyes.gif LOWERED COMPRESSION ENGINE producing stock numbers - thats why it's good!!

By the sudden power surge from 3000RPM as seen on the graph, you can deduce that the boost comes in ealry (IE 3000RPM) and pulls strong all the way up the rev range - thats all I wanted to put across, boost quick, boost hard and plain and simply --- you light the tires!

BAT -- I am D/loading the new driver for the digital CAM right now, I will post the pics of the engine bay with RADIATOR..... and lots of other things in about an hours time - hang tight!

E-mail the 11MB dyno to me. I'll resize it and host it on HP's server. There is no excuse for us not to see this "real" dyno by tomorrow.

I'm trying to stay out of this (cause everybody will think I'm biased), but I have one quick question. If this kit is sold all ready to go and the complete package, what parts is MaierApril waiting on? Also, if I remember right, he's had that kit since about August, but it seems like Chris changes his mind about the kit every week, so I doubt MaierApril has an "up to date" kit.
